Surrey return to action as Warwickshire visit The Kia Oval in Division One of the Vitality County Championship
Rory Burns’ side will be looking to make it three wins from three following victories at Kent and at home to Hampshire.

Surrey beat Hampshire by an innings and 11 runs at The Kia Oval.
Dan Worrall, Jordan Clark and Gus Atkinson took three wickets apiece as Surrey bowled Hampshire out for 151 early on the first day.
Skipper Rory Burns led from the front, scoring 113 – his first century since July 2022, as Surrey posted 359. The hosts had earlier been reduced to 44/4, before Burns and Ryan Patel (41*) took Surrey to 119. Jordan Clark entered the fray early on the second day and scored a mesmerising 106 not out from 102 balls to take Surrey to 359 all out, with a lead of 208 and three batting points secured.
Dan Worrall’s 5/47 secured victory by an innings and 11 runs as Hampshire were skittled once again for 197. Ollie Pope equalled a 66-year Surrey record with the most outfield catches in a First Class match!
WARWICKSHIRE
Warwickshire sit fourth in Division One of the Vitality County Championship, having drawn all of their opening four matches.
The Bears have drawn at home to Worcestershire, Durham and Nottinghamshire, with a draw on the road at Southampton against Hampshire.
Alex Davies has started the season brilliantly after replacing Will Rhodes as captain over the winter. His 481 runs include 256 against Durham, plus 149 at Hampshire.

Surrey’s bowlers put Warwickshire to the sword last September, securing victory by an innings and 97 runs.
Ben Foakes scored 125 as Surrey were bowled out for 396. New ball duo Kemar Roach (4/64) and Dan Worrall (3/34) did the damage as Warwickshire were skittled for 161.
Burns enforced the follow on and his seamers bowled Warwickshire out for 138 as Dan Worrall (5/25) and Jordan Clark (4/26) caused carnage. A staggering 23 wickets were taken on the second day, with Surrey’s seamers taking 17 of them.
