More than 15,000 people are Members of Surrey County Cricket Club for the 2022 season; a higher total than in any other season in the modern era.
The Club has seen a doubling of its Membership base in a decade, rising from a final total of 7,143 in 2012.
This figure has steadily increased throughout those years, first surpassing 10,000 in 2018 and then going beyond 13,000 in 2019.
Priced at just £20 for U16s and from £71 for young adults, Membership is an affordable source of entertainment for people from all across London & the South East.
Membership numbers are expected to continue to grow as the 2022 season nears. As well as access to more than 40 days of cricket across the summer, Surrey Members contribute to the growth of the sport in the region and enjoy a range of benefits too.
As a Members’ Club, we reinvest Membership fees back into supporting the game in the county, developing talent and maintaining The Kia Oval’s status as one of the premier venues in the world of sport.
We are overseen by an elected General Committee who meet regularly to discuss key decisions related to the Club, The Kia Oval and our influence on the wider game and community. Every Member is entitled to stand for election to the General Committee. Votes are held annually and every Member has the right to vote for their preferred candidate.
We also seek to provide Members with as much access to the Club as possible, with our Members’ Events through the year just one way we do this.
2022 Members will shortly be receiving their Membership pack in the post, detailing all the ways they can enjoy an incredible summer of cricket. They also receive guest vouchers, allowing them to introduce friends and family to this pocket of South London for free.
Priority access to international tickets at The Kia Oval is a key pillar of Membership, entitling Members to purchase their seats for England One-Day International and Test matches before anyone else.
The Micky Stewart Members’ Pavilion is reserved for Members during international & Vitality Blast fixtures and discounted drinks are available at bars in this area on matchdays.
Our Members’ Restaurant in the 175 Suite offers a range of options during LV= County Championship & Royal London Cup matches and the Matchday Store is discounted for all Members.
Our Membership Partner Programme means our Members can enjoy discounts at a host of attractions including Thorpe Park and meals at pubs & restaurants local to The Kia Oval.
