Stormed on to the scene as a 16-year-old, Corteen-Coleman is one of the brightest prospects in the country
A tall left-arm finger spinner, Tilly Corteen-Coleman burst onto the scene in 2024, taking four wickets in four balls for South East Stars against Northern Diamonds in the Charlotte Edwards Cup and ending up with five for 19 in the match.
Having made a habit of taking wickets early on in her spells, she finished her first season as a professional with 25 wickets from 19 matches across formats for the regional side, earning a nomination for PCA Women’s Young Player of the Year.
The left-arm spinner, who was a part of the Stars’ Academy and Emerging Player Programme from 2023, became the youngest-ever player in the history of the Hundred when she represented the Southern Brave in 2024 as a 16-year-old.
Amidst the 2024 season, Corteen-Coleman signed her first full-time professional contract with Surrey.
