Part of the Surrey Pathway since the age of 9, Barnwell is an exciting lightning quick bowler on a rookie contract for 2022.

18-year-old Barnwell, a Caterham School graduate, was a regular for Surrey U18s, played four ODIs for England U19s, featured for London & East in the ECB Super 4s and made three appearances for Surrey’s 2nd XI in the 2021 season.

Often taking the new ball, the Banstead CC seamer is capable of bowling at high pace and has developed as a lower order finisher with the bat in white-ball fixtures.
