TICKETS

This game has reached capacity and there are no further tickets for sale.

Guildford CC can only hold a maximum capacity of 2,000 spectators and as such Members were advised to secure tickets in advance.

Due to the ground being at capacity, Members who have not been issued with a ticket, will not be able to access the ground. Members must have a ticket to attend this fixture and entry is not permitted with a Membership Card alone.

TRAVEL

The game takes place at Guildford Cricket Club, The Sports Ground, Woodbridge Road, Guildford GU1 4RP.

By Car

No match-day parking is available at, or in the vicinity, of the ground and we advise all fans to use public transport. The nearest Guildford Borough public car park is at Mary Road GU1 4QU.

Alternatively, spectators can use the Guildford Park & Ride. Park and ride lets you park free of charge at one of four car parks – Spectrum, Artington, Merrow, and Onslow – and pay to travel into Guildford on the all-electric zero emission buses.

By National Rail

Guildford CC is approximately a ten-minute walk from two national rail stations: Guildford and London Road.

FOOD AND DRINK

Guildford CC will operate the popular Public Refreshment Tent, which will serve alcoholic and soft drinks. There will also be hot food available at the ground for spectators to purchase.

As this is a Category ‘B’ fixture, supporters are permitted to bring their own alcohol into the ground should they wish. This is restricted to a maximum of four 500ml cans of beer/lager or a 750ml plastic container of wine per person. No further alcohol will be permitted on any subsequent re-admission to the ground.

Members are welcome to bring food into the ground on match days.

ACCESSIBILITY

As we are constantly striving to improve our standards, facilities and attitudes accordingly, we have launched a non-visible disability wristband. This optional wristband will enable fans with a non-visible disability to easily identify themselves to Club staff on match-day, should they need any assistance, without having to give an explanation or the nature of their disability. Staff can then support the individual in the appropriate way.

If you require a wristband, please collect it from the Club’s Accessibility Officer Theresa Peters upon arrival at the main gate of Guildford or email accessibility@surreycricket.com and one will be posted to you.

SCORECARDS

For the 2023 season, in line with our sustainability goals, the Club have decided that there will be a limited number of scorecards available for each domestic fixture. There will also be a version available to download and print at home should Members wish to.

Scorecards will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be collected from the entry gates at Guildford CC.

YOUR SAFETY IN AND AROUND THE GROUND

We strongly advise that all fans arrive to the ground early to avoid any delays in entering. The gates will be open 1.5 hours prior to the start of play for Metro Bank One Day Cup games at Guildford CC.

Please be aware of the risks of cricket balls entering the stands from the field of play. We ask that all fans stay vigilant of airborne cricket balls whilst in their seat and in the vicinity of the playing field.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has implemented a ban on the importation of alcohol, glass containers and metal cans. Following close consultation with the Police and Health and Safety advisors, alcohol will not be permitted on the following match-days: Test Match, One-Day International, Vitality Blast and The Hundred.

For other match-days, such as LV= Insurance County Championship, Metro Bank One Day Cup and Surrey Women fixtures, alcohol importation is restricted to a maximum of four 500ml cans of beer/lager or a 750ml plastic container of wine per person.

Members are welcome to bring food into the ground on match-days.

A complete list of prohibited items include; alcohol, glass, cans, musical instruments, flares, laser devices, air horns, fireworks, weapons and whistles.

REPORTING DISCRIMINATION

We stand against discrimination in all its forms and are committed to ensuring that cricket is a game for everyone. If you have experienced or witnessed discrimination you can report it either direct to the Club at equality@surreycricket.com and/or through the ECB’s website: https://www.ecb.co.uk/reporting-discrimination. Any reports will then be triaged by the ECB and investigated by the relevant cricket organisation.
