The game will start at 11:00 am on Sunday, 14 July. Surrey’s social media channels will provide regular updates and a match report will be published at the end of the game.

Surrey will be aiming to add to their tally of six points in the competition, having lost and won once, with no result possible in their third game.

SQUAD

Skippered by Amy Gordon, Surrey have named a 12-strong squad for the London Derby against Middlesex.

MIDDLESEX

Middlesex have collected five points from their two games so far, having lost and won once and claimed one bonus point.

Their first victory of the campaign came in their previous match, which was against Essex at Coggeshall CC. Middlesex set a towering target of 309 for Essex, thanks to runs from the entire top order that was led by opener Saskia Horley’s 89 off 73 balls. In the second innings, a collective effort from Middlesex’s bowling unit kept their opponents in check as they sealed an 81-run win.

LAST TIME OUT

Surrey’s last outing in the competition was against Sussex at Guildford, where they ended up on the wrong side of a hard-fought, low-scoring thriller, falling to a 14-run defeat in the end.

Having restricted Sussex to 156 all out – thanks to an excellent bowling performance from Emily Burke (3/20), Charlotte Lambert (2/22) and Anjali Ketan (2/28) – Surrey narrowly fell short of the target, in part due to left-arm wrist spinner Millie Taylor’s brilliant four for 32.
