Amy Gordon will represent Kent’s ‘Tier 2’ side from the 2025 season, having played for Surrey for 14 years

Gordon was officially named Surrey captain for the 2024 season and played 88 times for the Club having made her senior debut in 2016. She played seven matches for theSurrey Stars in the 2019 Kia Super League.

The all-rounder scored 910 runs and took 38 wickets in her time at Surrey. In the T20 format, Gordon scored 711 runs at an average of 20.91, with a high score of 73 in June’s victory over Berkshire.

Gordon lifted the London Cup at the Kia Oval in 2024, having steered her side to victory.

Amy Gordon said “The club has been a huge part of my life since the age of nine. I went all through the age-groups and always dreamed of wearing the Three Feathers of Surrey women.

“Being the Surrey captain will always be something that I’ll take immense pride in! I am so fortunate that I was able to lead the club I’ve called my home for 14 years. The support my teammates gave me from the beginning is something I will cherish forever.

“I’d like to thank my teammates, coaches and everybody involved with the club for their incredible support and opportunities they have given me. I wish the club all the best in the future!”
