There was no play possible on the third day of the LV= County Championship match between Surrey and Leicestershire at the Uptonsteel County Ground on Saturday.
Heavy rain throughout the morning and into the afternoon left the outfield saturated throughout. It remained that way when the umpires called off play for the day at approximately 2:30pm.
Both teams will try again on Sunday morning. However a result looks unlikely with with Surrey on 146/0 in response to Leicestershire’s 496 all out across the first five sessions of the match.
Every Surrey home match will be available to view either on kiaoval.com or Sky Sports this season. Away matches will be streamed by the county hosting the match and shared here where possible.
The best way to get your seat at The Kia Oval when restrictions allow is with a 2021 Membership, starting from £69 for adults and £20 for U16s.
