Amar Virdi has joined Worcestershire on loan for the rest of the season.
The off-spinner will be available for this week’s game against Essex at Chelmsford as well as the fixtures against Warwickshire (H), Hampshire (A) and Lancashire (H).
Virdi spent a game on loan at Worcestershire earlier in the season, representing the club against Durham in a six-wicket win at Chester-le-Street.
Worcestershire defeated Kent at Visit Worcestershire New Road in their most recent fixture and currently sit 6th in the Division One table.
Virdi, 25, came through Surrey Academy and has represented the Three Feathers in 40 first-class games, taking 123 wickets.
